Do you organise engineering and approvals?

What are your excavation capabilities?
Excavation is a core part of what we do. From detailed site cuts and foundation excavations to bulk earthworks and rural property preparation, we have the experience and equipment to manage excavation requirements efficiently and safely. When challenging ground conditions present, including hard rock, we utilise specialised attachments and equipment to keep the project progressing. By combining excavation and retaining works under one contractor, we can better coordinate projects, minimise unnecessary delays, and maintain greater control over quality, timelines, and outcomes.
How important is drainage behind a retaining wall?
Drainage is one of the most critical components of any retaining wall. Without adequate drainage, water pressure can build up behind the wall, increasing structural loads and impacting long-term performance. As part of our construction process, we design and install drainage solutions to effectively manage hydrostatic pressure and ensure our retaining walls are built to achieve a minimum 5kPa surcharge strength. Depending on the wall’s location, surrounding structures, and site conditions, additional stormwater management may be required to control water flow and direct runoff away from the retaining structure and surrounding areas. Effective drainage design ensures the wall is supported by the right systems behind the scenes, helping maintain its performance and durability over time.
What supporting elements do you provide as part of a retaining wall project?
A retaining wall is often just one part of creating a finished, functional space. We provide a range of supporting services including concrete and rock stairs, turf and irrigation preparation, concrete pathways, and small slab works to help complete the surrounding area. We also offer light landscape preparation, including works such as mulching to finish embankments we have shaped or retained, helping protect exposed areas and create a more practical, polished result. By combining these elements with our retaining and excavation capabilities, we help deliver a more complete outcome from ground preparation through to the final details.
